The National Coalition for Social Accountability launches a campaign of advocacy and security from Nablus governorate

 

The National Coalition for Social Accountability launched the campaign of advocacy and security from Nablus governorate.The campaign started with joint activities with the Civil Defense, Red Crescent, Public Works and Village Councils in the villages of Salem, Deir Al-Hatab and Azmout, east of Nablus.

Azmi Shukair, a member of the secretariat of the National Coalition for Social Accountability, said that this campaign, which began today, aims to remove damage from public roads, especially before the winter. Similar activities will be carried out in other areas in several cities in the West Bank.

The Director of Civil Defense in Nablus, Colonel Malik Alia, assured on the importance of this campaign, which leads to real results and at lower costs and this work promotes the spirit of giving and belonging to the homeland. He added that these villages were chosen by a joint entrance to launch the campaign.

The Deputy Head of the village council of Azmout Murad Amer said "The work was done and cleaned the valley near the school, which is an obstacle to students in  winter, and opened paths to rain water to prevent from floods, assured that together we can do everything". 


The National Coalition for Social Accountability is an initiative from the Community Committees and as one of the outputs of Prtners for Social Accountability Project implemented by Ta'awon. The Coalition is currently carrying out a lobbying, advocacy and security campaign in several West Bank governorates.
