Ta'awon institution for conflict resolution has ended the third phase of (a step toward peaceful dialogue) project which is implemented by Ta'awon institution and funded by the General American consulate in Jerusalem.
Ta'awon institution for conflict resolution side by side with Wattan TV have conducted TV dialogic meetings within " Ehna wain-Klam eshbab " TV program which is a youth TV show that throws the light on the most important socio-political variables beside the most important issues concerning the Palestinian youth needs and priorities.
The previously mentioned TV meetings have focused on emerging the most critical social and political hot issues which represent a direct interest from the youth to be acquainted with the youth opinions in relevance to the social and political outlined issues in the Palestinian community. The dialogic meetings have varied to comprehend discussions of "youth and strategic changes in the Arab league", "the Palestinian youth and territorial belongings", "youth and political participation", "youth stereotype about civil society", "international position of the Palestinian case, particularly the United Nations", and "national reconciliation and September, a deserved merit".
As'ad Al-shu'aibe, one of the project participants, asserted that "Ehna wain-Klam eshbab" program depicts a real opportunity for young people to express themselves directly and comprehensively when it comes to social and political suggested issues. The program also presents a unique chance to learn from monitoring and discussing skills as well as respecting other points of view.
Participants have posed sets of recommendations and suggestions through the TV show episodes transmission. One important recommendation was to work on implementing many political encouraging participation courses for young people inside youth institutions and congregations side by side with benefiting as many young people as possible through these courses, besides activating youth role in backing up and supporting Mr. president Mahmoud Abbas initiative in September merit.
Within the same context, Ta'awon institution for conflict resolution has conducted a meeting that included all the project participants for the sake of launching three youth initiatives distributed in the northern, southern and middle parts of the West Bank. Such an initiative aims to reinforce and shake out dialogic and peaceful civil concepts on one hand, dealing positively and peacefully within the Palestinian social inner conflicts on the other hand.
