Ta'awon institution for conflict resolution has accomplished plenty of workshops and youth dialogic meetings in different places within west bank; this comes within the second stage of the step toward peaceful dialogue project which is executed by Ta’awon institution for conflict resolution and funded by the General American consulate in Jerusalem.
Ta’awon institution for conflict resolution has implemented 17 dialogic meetings in all of the west bank areas within the stage of workshops, meetings main focus was in villages, camps and marginalized areas for the sake of providing young people an opportunity to express themselves in the social and political outlined occurrences in progress currently.
Workshops and dialogic meetings, managed by a group of young people trained and prepared at their first stages within the project, have concentrated on highlighting the most important political and social hot issues which represent a direct interest for the sake of getting acquainted with young people points of view as concerning the political and social outlined issues that the Palestinian society is passing through recently. Those dialogic meetings have varied to include; discussions about youth and unemployment, youth and political participation, youth and community work, youth role in national reconciliation, youth role in resolving social conflicts and disputes, youth and the case of refugees, youth and social media, the youth supreme council, sexual education, youth and decision makers, beside youth and changing policies in the Arab league.
Participants asserted in the dialogic outlined meetings on the necessity that the youth role is not limited to executive procedures and youth negative potential use, but furthermore it must include a tangible participation in drawing future policies. Participant assured as well the essential integrated work with the government to overcome the impediments which face youth developmental programs particularly poverty, unemployment and limited participation within the social and political work. They also confirmed on the importance of solidarity and youth congregational unions to find a compressing, active and supportive youth body to all youth rights.
Participants in dialogic meetings showed a noticeable interest represented interactive participation and the huge audience at many meetings, in addition to targeted discussions distinguished in the use of peaceful dialogic tactics and skills away from fanaticism and racism.
