Ta’awon and Shagaf accomplished a training workshop in developing skills in filming and video production through Shabab live project in partnership with Deutche Welle Academy-Germany, Al-khat -Tunisia, and Arab Information center for folk arts/AL-Jana -Lebanon funded by EU and German foreign affairs ministry. 

The training workshop continued for 3 days in participating of 26 youth females and males that have the same interests in media from different West Bank and East Jerusalem Governates. The training aimed to empower the participants to produce videos and media content that highlight on societal issues which is a priority for Palestinian community.

Trainer Iyad Yahya led the training he is an expert in filming and videos, the training focused on participant skills of how to use vlogging cameras, rules of filming, and how to produce a video in a professional way. The workshop is  incooperation with Al-Bireh cultural lab center.

Ismirat the project manager assured that this training workshop in its first phase of the project which include developing the participant skills in dealing with societal conflict in addition to developing community initiatives, choosing societal issues and the skills in designing and  producing media content.

Ismirat pointed out that the next step will include various activities such as digital neighboring, launching 26 media content, launching digital studio, award prizes, and many other activities that contribute in raising youth voices through media.
